Our Mission

Cypress SUP was created by water-lovers from coast to coast. Our mission is to create a future of clean water for everyone. We do this by taking people on SUP adventures to some of the most beautiful bodies of water in the country. In our SUP Yoga classes we offer education, water conservation resources, and we donate $1 per person to a non-profit organization working to conserve and provide clean waters. While our mission is serious, we always have so much fun when we're on the water with everyone!

Frequently asked questions

What To Wear?

You can wear moisture wicking yoga gear that you would normally wear to a studio that you wouldn't mind getting a little wet.(Cotton clothing not recommended because it takes a long time to dry) Maybe a comfortable bathing suit in warmer weather. No Wet Suit necessary. A hat and rash guard is suitable and highly recommended for those who have sun or skin issues and require more coverage.

I've Never Paddleboarded Before...

No Worries! Even if you've never done yoga before you will do great. Our instructors will teach you the basics before class. We work with new comers and SUP Yoga enthusiasts of all types. Sometimes the most balanced of yogis can fall in- and it's OKAY! Yes, you may get a bit wet but know that it is easy to get back on the board and you're having fun!

We have classes from coast to coast. Classes in Florida are held at the many springs in the Gainesville surrounding areas - Usually at Rum Island. Classes in California are held at Bel Marin Keys in Novato.

What Should I Bring To Class?

*Hat *Sunscreen *Towel *Rashguard (Highly recommended if you're sensitive to the sun) *Change of clothes *Water Bottle We encourage you to leave your smartphones and cameras locked in your vehicle. We are more than happy to take photos for you during class so that you may concentrate on your practice! Use your own discretion when bringing electronics.

Absolutely! We can hold classes with up to 7 people. SUP Yoga is a great addition to a fun weekend with friends or family. We can work with your schedule and travel to various destinations in the area with swimmable water. Email us for a special group rate at cypresssup@gmail.com

What If It Rains?

We keep a very close eye on the weather reports. If it looks like it's going to be dangerous weather to Paddleboard in we will cancel class and issue you a refund or class credit - your choice. But, a little bit of rain can't hurt when you're already so close to the water. We have held classes in light rain before.
